Muon seeks a Staff Software Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering Team to develop secure software for hardware systems, particularly within U.S. Government and ITAR-controlled environments. Implement secure coding practices and software development security methodologies throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, system architecture, and integration plans. Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security code reviews to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
This position is needed to bridge the gap between Twilio's security organization and engineering teams by partnering on the implementation of robust security measures at scale, up-leveling existing security capabilities and critical security risk reduction. You'll build relationships with engineering to foster cooperative partnerships across key Twilio products and platforms and cultivate security expertise across engineering teams through mentorship, technical guidance and training.
As the Staff Security Enablement Analyst, you will develop, implement, measure, and manage processes to enhance security enablement across Twilio, fostering a security-first culture by engaging, training, and empowering Twilio employees to act as security practitioners to support and up-level Twilio’s security posture.
